Mon Repo is situated only 3km away from the city centre. It is about an exquisite natural landmark, which covers 258 acres of thick vegetation with a variety of 2,000 different kinds of plants. In 1831, Frederick Adam constructed the palace of Mon Repo in honor of his wife, the same palace where Empress Elisabeth was living.

Its famous coast

Mon Repo is an old city, whose spots are connected through leafy paths. At the end of the central road, there is the well reputable beach of Kardaki, which is quite shadowy and therefore explicit for heat waves. There is also a platform for those who would like to sunbathe or those who would love diving. Besides the thick vegetation, there is an eye-catching fount from which frozen drinking water flows.
